As 2018 is about to pass, it is always good to look back and make some resolutions for the year. Turning back to see how far you’ve come is so important to keep pushing forward. In fashion sense, this year was very blooming for me. I felt more free in expressing my true style than ever. Also being on my second Fashion Week brought me a fresh view on fashion at the moment.
But what are the best style resolutions 2018 had to offer? They are definitely a lot, but let’s concentrate on the most valuable ones.
Wearing bold colors was the thing this year. Being brave and picking an eye catchy tone can be appealing and makes you stand out. If you ever wonder how to dress to feel confident, I suggest choosing a vibrant color as blue, red, purple or any statement one that you like.
Another resolution for the past year is the replacement of certain items. I got rid of so much clothes that I never wear, and I gave them up to somebody, who would appreciate them better, and will actually use them. This is such a nice way to clean your closet, and also to make someone extremely happy. I embrace this and I actually do it very often.
Shop more smartly. People buy so many stuff that they like only at first sight, but never serve them. An investment piece is certainly a better idea, than getting a lot of useless fashion items. Buying fast fashion purchases is not only thoughtless, but extremely harmful for the environment too.
Take better care of the things you love. Particularly respect your clothes and pay attention to how they look. That means trips to the tailor and shoe repair before those items are no longer able to be refreshed.
Particularly for this post I chose the outfit for my birthday this year that I wore in Milan. The dress is in strong and beautiful cobalt color and is from Revolve. As it was my birthday, I was extremely picky what to wear and I am so happy with my choice.
Those cute high heels are from Zara. The reason I like them so much is because of the open butterfly detail in the front. And last but not least, my watch is from Versace. I adore the brand and I think they have always designed, not only clothes and accessories, they design modern art.
